Hi. I’m Matt. I am your owner, operator, and sole proprietor up in here. I’m South Dakota-born, South Minneapolis-for-life, and my day job involves making Internet things for a non-profit education assistance organization.

The other ten or so waking hours of the day regularly involve cooking, cocktails, sports and my ladyfriend; there are frequent appearances, in addition, of good friends, good restaurants, punk rock, hip-hop, reggae, pub quizzes, bowling, books, and Coen Brothers movies.

I haven’t traveled everywhere in the world yet, but that’s more a function of time and money than of desire.

I love the Minnesota Gophers, Minnesota Twins and Arsenal FC; the food of pretty much everyplace between the 23rd parallels north and south; the philosophical and aesthetic underpinnings of sports; the way Minneapolis looks in the spring; the ineffable qualities of good Scotch; the music invented by dorky kids in the East Bay in 1995; my girlfriend, friends, family and backyard; and boobs.
